CIN III APP

Documentation is an essential in patient care. Documentation helps to provide good quality real world data.BUT time is very limited and expensive. The documentation tools are often time consuming and not self explanation. That’s why we sat down and created an easy to use input tool for gynecological in situ cancers like CIN III, VIN III and VAIN III. The entered data can be sent to a webpage of your liking in a standard xml format (currently ADT/GEKIT) with a few tabs. So with this app we sketched the area of interest and you can tab to set the ICD code. Personal patient data has to be entered via the keyboard but as much as possible is preset or concluded (like the organ side – ?? don’t know why this has to be checked on single organs). Once the data is entered the dataset can be saved on the phone and processed further (like uploading via a browser, or put into an excel sheet or…).

As entering data is sometimes a bit of a pain, you can grant the app access to your camera and scan the patient data to fill the variables. That is still in a beta-version but it will get better over time. Plus currently we have requested the certification of the German tumordatabases so it can be officially used anywhere in Germany to submit data. As mentioned earlier it is work in progress that’s why we are not promoting the app actively. Just letting friends and collegues know that it exists and hope for constructive feedback to improve it. In case you’d like to test it yourself, well download it and send us your remarks. We will take notice of them.

And at what charge?
The app charges per upload and you can purchase uploads from 4.99€ (10 uploads) to 9.99€ (100 uploads) and comes with a couple of free uploads to try the app. Further details and instructions can be found on our Discord server here.
